Jason Segal
Managing Partner - New York, NY

Jason Segal, CFA

Mr. Segal is the Managing Partner of Asbury, focused on all aspects of our investment banking practice. Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director of JLL's Energy & Infrastructure Investment Banking team, and the co-founder / Managing Partner of Javelin Capital which was acquired by JLL in 2025. Over the past 18 years, he has represented IPPs, asset managers, corporations, developers, institutional investors and DFIs/governments on dozens of buy and sell side investment banking transactions in renewables and other low carbon value chains.

Prior to JLL/Javelin, Jason founded and managed the Americas practice for Sustainable Development Capital LLP, a climate-focused specialist financial advisory and investment firm. Mr. Segal was previously a Managing Director at Citigroup and Nikko Citigroup's Equities Division in New York and Tokyo, and a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Goldman Sachs Asset Management in New York. Mr. Segal earned an MBA from Wharton and a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University. He holds Series 24, 63, and 7 securities licenses and is proficient in Spanish and Japanese.

Brad Frame

Brad Frame

Mr. Frame is a Managing Director at Asbury, focused on the firm's energy, power, and infrastructure investment banking practice. He has spent the bulk of his career in investment banking, with a period in industry serving in senior finance and corporate development roles at North American power and energy companies. Over the past 18 years, he has executed and advised on more than $50 billion of M&A and financing transactions across renewables, conventional power, midstream, regulated utilities, and upstream and downstream oil and gas, representing corporates, IPPs, sponsors, lenders, and institutional investors on both buy and sell side mandates.

Prior to Asbury, Mr. Frame was Head of Americas Finance and Investments at Akaysha Energy, a global BESS developer, and Manager of Investment Analysis at TransAlta, a leading North American independent power producer. He was previously a Director in Bank of America's investment banking team and an Executive Director in JPMorgan's energy investment banking practice. Mr. Frame earned an MBA from Queen's University and a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Alberta.

Pete Hamilton

Pete Hamilton

Mr. Hamilton is a Managing Director at Asbury, focused on the firm's energy transition, climate, and distributed infrastructure investment banking practice. He brings 25+ years of experience as an engineer, advisor, and investor across the energy transition space. Pete is the Founder of Better Energies and has held senior commercial and operating roles at companies including Solar Turbines (Caterpillar), Lockheed Martin, Toyota Tsusho, Fluence, Centrica, CPower, Sharp, Sunverge, EnerNOC, and the Center for Sustainable Energy.

Mr. Hamilton combines deep technical fluency with capital markets experience, bringing a rare ability to stress-test both the engineering and financial assumptions behind every transaction. He earned his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Swarthmore College and an MBA from the Cornell Johnson School.
